is there need for religion

I always wonder who invented religious orders which always created always disorder for global human beings. I always fell it is only in the mind and nothing to with the body. when i look ffrom the sky during the flifgts, i find no identity for the various spots on earth, other than the mountain highs or ocean blues or the forests and dwellings in between. people are born naked and if god wanted he would have the religious stampings on each individual. then wherefrom the human acquired the religion its distinctive style and practices. it is a puzzle. i think it is the creation of pundits and priests for their own survival, display of importance, but does not add any value except stress arising out of fear of punishment if a particular process is not followed in the assigned worship. do you find any difference while sleeping with your life partner and have you ever smelt religion during the course, except the smell of the relevant parts. they only get smell according to the food we eat! all these musings are froma man who otherwise performs trikal sandhya as precribed under the vedic hindu religion for a brahmin!
